How to Root Sony Xperia Sola

How to Root Sony Xperia Sola

  1. As already stated, you must download a file which will be flashed on your phone’s system. So get the Kernel.elf from here and save it to your computer.
  2. Place the file to the same folder as fastboot.
  3. Take your Sola and turn it off.
  4. Then, reboot and enter in fastboot mode.
  5. For the fastboot mode you must hold on Volume Up key while powering the handset on.
  6. Up next connect the phone with the computer.
  7. Use the USB cord for this.
  8. Once connected, on the PC open command prompt. Just click on Start, then on run and type cmd. In the end press “enter”.
  9. On the command prompt window enter the command: fastboot flash boot kernel.elf.
  10. In the end, reboot the device.
  11. Disconnect it from the computer by unplugging the USB cable.
  12. Done.

      No it does not work for ICS build. It will put your phone in a boot-loop. Like mine 😀 See my comment below..

    but my device can’t boot , and just show “SONY” to me, what can i do? ;-(
