Can anyone explain this? None of my contacts that start with ‘B’ will sync with Gmail. I can change the contact to start with another letter and it will sync – change it back and it will not sync. WTF?

When I try to merge with Google in Contacts, I get the message: No contacts to be merged” on my Galaxy 3S. I do have a Google email on the phone?
