After HTC America President Jason Mackenzie announced yesterday that the Sprint HTC One is getting updated to Android 4.3, HTC USA has revealed via their official Twitter account that the One customers who purchased their devices through other US carriers will also receive the firmware update by the end of the month.
The AT&T and T-Mobile customers owning an HTC One will be able to update their device to the latest Android version sometime mid-October, while the Verizon users will get the software update by the end of the month. Since the Big Red is the last in line to push the update, it’s worth mentioning that the Verzion HTC One comes pre-loaded with Android 4.2 which already includes most of the new Sense features.
HTC UK also twitted about the Android 4.3 update for HTC One. Even though there’s no ETA for the UK market, they wanted to mention that the team is “currently working with our partners” and that the new firmware version will be rolled out “soon.”
In case you don’t know it already, I remind you that HTC One boasts about a 4.7-inch full HD Super LCD3 display, quad-core 1.7 GHz Snapdragon 600 processor, 2 GB of RAM, and 4 MP UltraPixel camera with optical image stabilization and 1080p@30fps video recording capabilities.
HTC One Developer Edition along with the Canadian variants already received the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update last week.
