The hackers, developers, and the users who want to test the latest custom ROMs have a new reason to cheer because starting today they will be able to pre-order the HTC One Developer Edition in US. The HTC One Developer Edition has a price of $649 and comes with 64 GB of internal storage and unlocked SIM and bootloader.
The first HTC One Developer Edition units will be shipped as of April 19th, on the same day the new flagship smartphone of the Taiwan-based company will hit the US market at Sprint and AT&T.
HTC One Developer Edition is compatible with 2G/3G/4G/LTE bands with AT&T, while the HSPA+ support is available for de 850/1900/2100 MHz bands, which means that only the 1700 MHz band has been neglected, the one currently used for T-Mobile.
The HTC One will definitely be one of the most appreciated smartphones in 2013, and the new smartphone it is capable of withstanding the heavy competition of smartphones like iPhone 5 or Samsung Galaxy S4. I case you forgot the HTC One comes pre-loaded with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean with Sense 5 UI, and the company’s proprietary BlinkFeed, HTC Zoe, or BoomSound.
The HTC One boasts Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 600 SoC, with four Krait 300 cores clocked at 1.7 GHz, Adreno 320 GPU, 2 GB of RAM, and 4 megapixel camera with Ultrapixel technology that involves 1/3 inch sensor size and 2µm pixel size.
