HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE release date announced by Verizon

The HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE has been expected by some Verizon users and it seems like the wait will be over in just a few days. According to Verizon’s website, the device’s release date will be July 5th, which means it’s coming next week.

We first saw the HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE two months ago at CTIA and it features a 1.2Ghz Krait processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal memory, expandable through a microSD card slot, a 4-inch SuperLCD 540×960 pixels resolution display. It’s got an 8MP primary camera and a 1.3MP frontal one.

According to Verizon’s website, the Droid Incredible 4G LTE will be priced at $199 with a 2-year contract, which is also the price of Samsung Galaxy S3, which is a much better device in any way. We believe Verizon is going to offer a $50 mail-in rebate, because this device could never compete with the Galaxy S3.

Verizon is going to launch the Share Everything plan this week and they probably want to convince people into switching to this plan with the Droid Incredible 4G LTE, though we have to wait a bit until final details about pricing are released.

Hopefully they won’t postpone the Droid Incredible 4G LTE’s release date, as they did lately with most smartphones.
