HTC M7 Release Date Is February 19th, Hints Mysterious Invitation
New HTC M7 might be released on February 19th. The Taiwanese company sent the media invitations for an mysterious event that will take place in New York and London, 5 days after Valentine’s Day.
Rumors about HTC M7 have increased lately and smartphone appears to be similar to HTC HTC Droid DNA and Butterfly J launched so far only in The U.S. and Japan.
HTC M7 will have a 1080p full HD screen of 4.7 inches, along with a quad-core processor at 1.7 GHz. The flagship smartphone apparently uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro chipset from HTC Droid DNA, Nexus 4 and LG Optimus G, but overclocked at 1.7 GHz.
The rumors about the the new HTC smartphone specs include 32GB of storage space, 2GB of RAM, with a 13MP camera and 2MP (front) and a 2,300mAh battery.
The new HTC M7 will run Android Jelly Bean out of the box with the new HTC Sense 5 user interface. The decision to launch the phone before the MWC 2013 show that more companies follow the example of Apple and Samsung to offer a special event that will not lose a lot of other releases.
