HTC M7 Ultrapixel Camera Officially Confirmed

HTC M7 Camera

It’s not the first time and definitely not the last time when we will hear about the HTC M7, the company’s future flagship that was the subject of tech gossips lately. The terminal will be most likely unveiled later this month, as the Taiwan-based company is holding an event on February 19th, for which the official invitations were already sent in.

We’ve recently presented you the latest rumors about the HTC M7, after a lot of technical specifications and pictures of the next HTC flagship leaked online.

According to the latest information, the smartphone will benefit from the ultrapixel camera technology, instead of the the classic megapixel, which is supposed to deliver remarkable photos. The previous rumors added up with the info revealed by the Taiwanese phone maker are making us believe that most of the HTC M7 rumors are true.

HTC is planning to revolutionize the way we see the cameras of the mobile terminals. Moreover, the Asian company will introduce the new technology on the HTC M7, an Adroid-powered smartphone, which will definitely be beneficial for the platform, too.

According to the details shown in the press photo revealed by the manufacturer, HTC M7 will be able to fight on par with Nokia’s most impressive cameraphone, the PureView 808.

In the M7 camera teaser the guys at HTC didn’t forgot to mention that the 41 megapixel camera of the PureView 808 “won’t help you at all,” also promising that their new camera will be able to compete and outmatch Nokai’s unit. It will definitely be an interesting “battle” between the two companies, and I am confident that other companies will join the war as well. The only winners will be us, the customers.

The rumor mill speculates that HTC M7 will be underpinned by a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro chipset at 1.7 GHz, with Adreno 320 GPU, and 2 GB of RAM. Fitting in the trend set by the first flagships launched in 2013, HTC M7 will bring a 4.7-inch with full HD resolution.

Anyway, we’d advise you not to pop the champagne yet, as the HTC M7 release date is around the corner, when we will get more details about the next flagship of the Asian brand.
