About a week ago, the folks at @HTCFamily_RU leaked the first photo of the highly-anticipated HTC M8, which showed us that HTC’s next-gen flagship might arrive with two cameras on the back. The same image also confirmed a rumor started by @evleaks, which indicated that M8’s design will be a reminiscent of the HTC One.
@HTCFamily_RU is back with a new leaked photo of the HTC M8. This time we get to look at the front panel of the handset and get the confirmation for another report that roamed around the web for a while: that the One’s successor will ditch the capacitive buttons over on-screen buttons.
Another interesting thing about the new M8 leak is that it the charterers shown on the screen are Traditional Chinese which are commonly used in Taiwan. Given that HTC is based in Taiwan, we are tempted to believe that this photo is more legitimate that the ones that leaked over the past weeks.
Unfortunately, there’s no way to verify the authenticity of the photo, therefore we are advising you to take the rumor with a pinch of salt.
The HTC M8 is expected to leave the factory gates pre-loaded with Android 4.4 KitKat, customized with the new version’s of the company’s proprietary user interface, dubbed Sense 6 UI.
For the time being, the details about M8’s technical specifications are shallow, but the handset might arrive with a slightly larger full HD screen, quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor, 3 GB of RAM, and a bigger camera sensor.
