We all know that the folks at HTC are readying a successor for the One, a smartphone that will reportedly hit the market late March. Known by its HTC M8 codename, the terminal might end up being marketed as HTC One 2014 or simply HTC One.
The HTC M8 is expected to run Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box customized with a new version of HTC’s UI, dubbed Sense 6. Even though the One M8 was not officially unveiled yet, @evleaks is at work as he just revealed what it seems to be a screenshot of HTC’s Sense 6 UI.
The screenshot shows HTC’s updated BlinkFeed along with the usual KitKat layout, including transparent status and nav bars and white status bar icons. I have to admit, it looks pretty sharp.
What’s even more interesting about the new leak is the presence of the on-screen navigation buttons. It was rumored a few days ago that the HTC One M8 might be the company’s first high-end Android smartphone to ditch the capacitive navigation buttons below the display.
The well-known leaker has told us a while ago that HTC M8’s design will be a reminiscent of the current HTC One, while a more recent report showed that the smartphone might arrive with two cameras on the back.
