Later this month, the folks at HTC will unveil The All New HTC One, but in the meantime, recent reports have revealed more details about the flagship smartphone of the Taiwan-based company.
In fact, I guess that the HTC One 2014 (or The All New HTC One) is the most leaked smartphone ever, as the reports that made the headlines over the past few months have painted an almost complete image of the upcoming flagship.
What we didn’t know so far is that the new device will allegedly come with support for wireless charging. The new feature has been found in a leaked pack of One M8 sounds. The archive contains a .OGG file called “Wireless Charging Started” meaning that the new smartphone might feature such functionality.
Let’s have a look at the previous HTC One 2014 rumors and see what we should expect from the new device. The terminal should be available in five different body colors (silver, gray, blue, red, gold) and it will have a design reminiscent of last year’s One. One 2014 will ditch the capacitive buttons over on-screen buttons, will have two cameras mounted on the back, and it will run Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box, of course, customized with HTC’s proprietary Sense 6 interface.
Rumor has it that the smartphone will feature a 5-inch 1080p display, 2 GB of RAM, 16/32 GB of native storage, a 4 MP front-facing camera, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset with four Krait 400 cores clocked at 2.5 GHz and quad-core Adreno 330 GPU.
Are you interested in the new HTC One 2014? Would you purchase one if the above specs turn out to be true?
