According to HTC’s initial claims all the HTC One owners on the US territory should have been able to update their smartphones to Android 4.3 by the end of September. For some reason the Android 4.3 update for HTC One has been delayed a couple of weeks, but it’s better late than never.
The Sprint customers were the first in the US to be able to update their Ones to Android 4.3, followed shortly after by those on AT&T. Even though you would be tempted to believe that T-Mobile or Verizon would release the Android 4.3 update for HTC One next, hear that C Spire Wireless got ahead of them as they already started to push the latest firware update.
If you are from the Deep South and own a C Spire HTC One you might have just received the firmware update that will change the software version to 2.03.563.3. In case you didn’t receive the software update notification, you can head to Settings > About phone > Software updates and hit the Check for updates button every couple of seconds.
The Android 4.3 update for C Spire HTC One is being rolled out in stages, so it may take a couple of days until all users are able to download and install it. As you probably know, Android 4.3 is not a major update, so besides some bug fixes and little tweaks you won’t find anything breathtaking.
As a refresher, the HTC One packs a 4.7-inch 1080p Super LCD3 display, quad-core 1.7 GHz Snapdragon 600 processor, 2 GB of RAM, 32/64 GB of internal storage, LTE, NFC, and a 4 MP UltraPixel camera with full HD video recording support and OIS.
