According to the official changelog posted on Verizon’s support page, the new HTC One Android 4.4.2 update has software version 4.10.605.3 and updates your baseband to 1.13.41.0421.
The new software update also updates BlinkFeed with the ability to add or remove content, a tweaked interface, and support for social networks like Twitter or Foursquare.
The new Android 4.4.2 OTA update for Verizon HTC One M7 upgrades the native Camera app with new button to access preloaded Camera choices and the ability to create custom Camera Settings with updated Menu options. The Gallery app also received a new interface and so did the Homescreen.
After updating your Verizon HTC One M7 to Android 4.4.2 4.10.605.3 you should also notice WiFi connectivity improvements, that the SSO client and Audible app have been update to v3.1.19 and v1.5.4 respectively, and a new pre-loaded app called Emergency Alerts. The new firmware also resolves various issues and bugs.
Just like any other software update, the HTC One M7 Android 4.4.2 update is being rolled out in phases meaning that some of you might not be able to download and install it right away. As soon as your Verizon One M7 becomes eligible for the new update you should see a system update message in the notification area. Tap on it and follow the on-screen instructions. Anyway, it’s also worth checking for the update manually under Settings > Phone update > Check for update.
