HTC One M7 Android 4.4.2 Update with Sense 6 Now Rolling out for AT&T Users

A new HTC One M7 Android 4.4.2 OTA update is now rolling out, bringing the much-awaited Sense 6 UI for the AT&T users. The AT&T HTC One M7 Sense 6 update comes just one week after Sprint and Verizon released the same software update for their One M7 variants.

Because all the KitKat-specific goodies such as immersive mode, white status bar icons, cloud printing, Phone dialer with Caller ID, color emoji support, transparent status and nav bars, or full screen album art in the lockscreen have been patched in the previous Android 4.4.2 update for HTC One M7, the new software aims to update the interface to Sense 6.0. Besides the UI tweaks, the new firmware also arrives with an updated camera app, new motion controls, better power management, Ultra Power Saving Mode, and updated BlinkFeed.

Just like any other software update Android 4.4.2 with Sense 6 for AT&T HTC One M7 is being rolled out in stages which means that some of you might have to wait a bit more until the update hits your terminal. As soon as your AT&T One M7 becomes eligible to receive the new OTA update you should be able to see a system update message in the notification area. Tap on it and follow the on-screen instructions.

In case the system update notification haven’t showed up on your device, you might also want to perform a manual check under Settings > About > Software updates > Check now.

We don’t know yet the exact size of the AT&T HTC One Android 4.4.3 update file, but it could exceed 100 MB therefore it’s recommended to use a stable WiFi network while downloading it in order to avoid unwanted data charges. You should also have more than 50% battery life so the phone won’t turn off during the update.
