It is official, HTC will launch the sequel to HTC One on March the 25th at an event that will take place in two locations at the same time, New York City and London.
The official name of the new device hasn’t been confirmed, but the Android community is speculating on it to be HTC M8. This new flagship phone from the Taiwanese giant will be viewed as the sequel to 2013’s HTC One model. It will most probably be very similar to One model, but it might not present any physical buttons, as HTC wants to use virtual button interface.
It is rumored that the new HTC phone, One 2, M8 or whatever name HTC chooses for it, will feature a 5 inch 1080 Full HD screen, the Snapdragon 800 CPU, 2GB or 3GB RAM, rear-camera with UltraPixel, a 2.1 MP front-facing camera, 3000 mAh battery, WiFi ac and the latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS with Sense 6.0 UI. All these specs are rumors, but we will surely start getting more info as March 25th gets near.
We can’t wait for March to get here, so that we will get more info on the new HTC flagship phone such as hardware specs, colors availability, which carriers will support it and where it will be first made available. Most probably the HTC M8 or One 2 or HTC X will surely arrive first in the United States and United Kingdom.
The announcement will arrive on March 25th and the device will probably be available starting with early April. Tell us in comments what you think about this release and whether or not you’re planning on buying a new HTC device this year.
