Th fact that HTC will release two more devices that will be part of the One line is almost a sure thing. The first handset is the HTC One Mini which is meant to compete with the other Mini’s made by rival companies, while the HTC One Max will be launched to fight against the phablets built by the competition. It seems that the two smartphones has been allegedly potted in leaked carrier documents and there is even a photo featuring the HTC One Mini.
But let’s take them one by one. First of all, the HTC One Max (aka the HTC T6) has reportedly been seen in an Os Germany filing accompanied by other devices yet to be launched such as the HTC One Mini, Nokia Esos and the Nokia Mars, with the Nokia phones probably running Windows Phone.
Looking at the documentation, there are not details about the specs of the HTC One Max, but it does say that it will be sold in a silver color. However, if we are to believe the previous reports, the smartphone is supposed to have a 5.9-inch full HD display, and it will also include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM, and 16 GB of internal storage. Other rumored specs are an Ultrapixel Camera, a 3300mAh battery and Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie. While most of the specs are believable, the OS version doesn’t quite fit in the picture as Google hasn’t even announced Android 4.3 yet.
There is more data concerning the handset’s cellular capabilities and it seems that the HTC One Max will come in several variants depending on the markets where it will be sold. So, the device will have support for LTE-Advanced, WCDMA/GSM, TD-SCDMA, CDMA, FDD-LTE, but it will also have a dual-SIM model. Again, these are just unconfirmed rumors and they will remain this way until the company will offer some information.
Moving on to the HTC One Mini, unlike it’s bigger brother, the smartphone is featured in a couple of leaked images, which can be observed below the article.
It looks like SmartNews, a Bulgarian website, has information about the HTC One Mini and says that it will be packing a 4.3-inch screen with a pixel density of 342ppi, a dual-core CPU, 2GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal memory, and it will be running Android 4.2.2.
The HTC One Mini has been spotted in other photos recently, but unfortunately we don’t have any official details about it. As for its release date, it is supposed to be launched sometime in the third quarter of 2013, according to rumors.
Even though the pictures only reveal the black version of the HTC One Mini, the leaked O2 documentation lists it as arriving in silver, as well.
Anyway, there is still time for more information to appear because it looks like the handsets will not be available so soon.
