After HTC delayed the release of its latest flagship because of the Ultrapixel camera issue, things are starting to look goof for the HTC One as it slowly makes it way to all important markets. We already know the HTC One availability details in the US and Australia, and now its time to give the good news for the people living in India.
HTC India stated today that the HTC One will be officially launched in India, though it only provides end-April as a release date. However, according to AndroidOS.in, the HTC One will be available for purchase starting April 22. As for the price, the HTC One will be sold for Rs 42900 (around $810). It’s kind of pricey, but considering that when the HTC Butterfly was released it was sold for Rs 46000, it doesn’t sound too bad.
Also, the Samsung Galaxy S4 will probably have the same price, if not higher. Plus, the HTC One is cheaper than the Sony Xperia Z, which is a great smartphone but not as great as HTC’s product. The manufactured also said that it has a data partnership with RCom, and the people who buy the HTC One will be provided with 1 GB og free data for the first three months. The customers will also have free access to Facebook and Whatsapp, also for the first three months.
The HTC One comes with a great design and it includes several new features like BlinkFeed, Zoe, and of course its new camera technology.
The first quarter of 2013 has not been so good for HTC, financially speaking, but now with the HTC One becoming available in more and more countries it looks like the company is ready to compete with Samsung.
Let’s hear it from the people in India. Are you going to buy the HTC One when it will become available?
