HTC One SV Unveiled, Brings Android 4.0 ICS And 4G LTE Support
As the 4G LTE networks are becoming available on other markets, as well, the smartphone makers are aware that the customers are now seeking to purchase LTE-friendly devices.
HTC has officially announced that a new model belonging to the popular One line-up will hit the European market, HTC One SV. Being a related to Desire SV, the new HTC smartphone delivers high 4G download speeds.
The camera, specific to the One line-up, has a BSI sensor, 5 megapixels, f/2.0 optics and other dedicated functions like panorama mode, burst shot, full HD video recording at 1,080p and VideoPic.
HTC claims that all these features of the camera will allow the users to take high quality photos even in low light conditions.
The primary camera is completed by a secondary unit with 1.6 megapixel sensor, and f/2.2 optics, ideal for video calls.
HTC One SV also sports a 4.3-inch display with Super LCD2 technology and a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels, protected by a Gorilla Glass 2 layer.
One SV comes equipped with a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 chipset with 1.2 GHz CPU, 1 GB of RAM DDR2, 8 GB of internal storage and microSD card slot with support of up to 32 GB.
The 4G-friendly smartphone comes pre-loaded with Android 4.0 Ice Cream sandwich and HTC Sense 4 UI, but the Taiwan-based company didn’t announced whether it will receive the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update.
Available exclusively on the HTC smartphones, the Beats Audio system promises authentic sounds and studio quality for music, games and videos.
HTC One SV will be available in Europe as of December, in two body liveries blue or white, but the price tag is yet unknown.
