The Swype functionality has been merged into Android as a standard feature, and the Swype app is still available on the play store for any android device. So even if the default function is not to your liking, the app can easily be added.

Personally, though i prefer SwiftKey

Just to put it out there, HTC ONE IS NOT STOLEN BUILD QUALITY FROM APPLE!!!! Unless if any of you guys actually have felt the phone and tested for yourselves, the Iphone 5 is nothing similiar to the HTC ONE. HTC One = True premium iPhone 5 = Cheap Premium

And it looks like we have Samsung fanboy too! But please don’t compare this phone to a product that’s not even out yet. As of now, HTC One is probably the best smartphone in the market whether you like it or not. Until the S4 has been released and reviewed don’t just assume its going to be better!!

I have had the original Samsung Galaxy S 1900 for 2 years now and it’s almost time to upgrade but nothing was mentioned about Samsung’s ‘Swype” ability which I totally LOVE and would buy simply for that feature. Does the latest Samsung still have that and have any other brands of Smartphones picked up and ran with this feature? Would like to know that before purchasing my next smartphone.

Obvious fanboy, Id love to have the HTC but ill get the S4 when it releases just because of its build quality. HTC’s break way faster, even faster than apple electronics.

Battery life is very important, without this, you may end up with fast, clear, high pixels, great software, but die within few hours.

Well this is fair enough. I do agree with Brainz, though. Design would have been a tie (both of these phones aren’t exactly gorgeous from the front like the One X was) and the One would have stolen Build Quality hands down. So make that 5-2
