I have fresh news for those of you who were so eager to find out more details about HTC’s plans regarding to the One X successor on the market, as a tweet from @Football4PDA user, if offering precious info about the One X+ future specs list. So, now we can make a proper idea about this recently rumored smartphone, which was said to be a real competitor for the Samsung Galaxy S3 handset. Don’t get too enthusiastic though, as the One X+ is not that impressive; as you will see, there are only minor differences between the X+ and the original One X, the performances and the design being almost the same.
But before we get into the details of the HTC One X+, you also should know that the same tweet is talking about a possible Jelly Bean update for the One X users. Apparently, the device will receive the long-awaited OS improvement on December this year. Of course, we can’t rely on this info as there is no official statement coming from HTC yet, though the company did confirmed that there will be released Jelly Bean updates for the One X, XL and S, the exact date being still unknown. Anyway, we should wait and see if this will turn out to be true or not.
Now, the HTC One X+ specs should bring the NVIDIA AP37 quad-core CPU, which is just a little bit faster than the One X AP33 (1.6 GHz in quad-core mode and 1.7 GHz in single-core mode compare to 1.4 GHz in quad-core and 1.5 GHz in single-core mode). As you can tell, it will be hard to notice this difference once you actually use the phone, so nothing spectacular so far. Beside this, the rumors also reveal 1 GB of RAM memory, which by me is a real disappointment, 32 GB of internal storage memory and the Android platform with Jelly Bean on board. Of course you will get the classic Sense UI 4.5 and the poor 1,800 mAh battery.
The design of the HTC One X+ will be almost identical with the original One X, the handset being 129 grams weight and 134.36 x 69.9 x 9.3 mm. If you want to compare the devices, you should know that the One X has 130 grams weight and measures 134.4 x 69.9 x 8.9 mm. That was all so far, the rest of the details are still being kept as a secret. We are surely expecting something official to be leaked as this info is not quite what we were expecting. But, until then, you have the tweet below so you can see for yourselves which are the rumors about the highly-expected HTC One X+.
