Shortly after HTC released the One XL, we now have rumors about an improved version o it, called One XXL. At first we tended to believe it was the so-called “HTC Note”, due to its XXL name, though we were wrong.
HTC One XXL features the same 4.7-inch display present in the One XL, but it comes with 2GB of RAM and a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 CPU. It also features an 8MP primary camera and a 1.8MP frontal one, along with 802.11ac WiFi.
Currently we can’t be sure if this is true or not, but the US really needed a quad-core smartphone, considering that almost all of them feature a dual-core CPU due to the incompatibility between the 4G LTE technology and quad-cores.
Unfortunately we don’t have more information about the HTC One XXL, neither a release date, so we can only hope to find out more about it soon. Europeans and the rest of the world have had quad-core devices for months and until now there isn’t at least an upcoming quad-core in the US. Though the US will get quad-core smartphones soon, while Europe is not going to have 4G LTE for the next for years, so their wait is shorter.
We’ll let you know once we find out more information and a potential release date for the HTC One XXL, so stay close.
