Huawei has just announced a new budget-friendly Android smartphone that has a price of only £130 (about €150). The new handset of the China-based phone maker comes with a dual-core processor and is running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean out of the box, which make it a pretty attractive product.
For the time being, all we know is that the new smartphone will debut in Great Britain (is already up for order at Vodafone UK), but we will let you know if the budget Android Jelly Bean-powered smartphone will also became available for purchase in other regions of Europe or in US.
Huawei Ascend G510 is packing a 4.5-inch display, a dual-core processor clocked at 1.5 GHz, and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean with Huawe’s proprietary Emotion user interface applied on top of it. Inside Ascend G510’s body you will find a 1,750 mAh, while the back of the smartphone accommodates a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash, while the front panel hosts a front-facing camera for video calls with an unknown resolution.
Oh, I almost forgot. The 4.5-inch display is making use of IPS LCD technology and has a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels. The Huawei Ascend G510 is 9.9 mm thick and brings 4 GB of internal storage expandable using microSD cards, plus 512 MB of RAM.
