Huawei Ascend P1 Released in China, Europe and Latin America Soon to Follow
The recent rumors about the Huawei Ascend P1 release date and availability on the market are coming true as the handset has just been made available in China. This is placing it to the mid-April announcement leaked last month, meaning that the rest of the details are also true. So, if you want a high end phone, on a relatively low price tag and you are living in China, the Huawei Ascend P1 is perfect for you. For the rest of you who are interested in buying this Android based handset, you will have to wait a little bit before being able to get it from stores.
The Chinese customers can buy the Huawei Ascend P1 for 2,999 Chinese Yuan ($475). Of course this price is for the SIM free variant, the networks offers being more budget friendly. Anyway, if you don’t know what is with this smartphone, here are its main strengths. The Ascend P1 specs and features are including a large 4.3 inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen, 1 GB RAM, 4 GB ROM, an 8 MP autofocus, dual-LED flash rear facing camera along with a 1.3 MP front facing one, a dual core TI OMAP 4460 clocked at 1.5 GHz processor and the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS on board.
