If you’re looking forward in getting a new high end smartphone, but if you are not willing to spend all of your money for the same, then you must say hi to Huawei’s Honor 2 handset. The device is coming with a large 4.5 inch display and with a powerful quad core processor, all this and a lot more being offered for a real affordable price tag.
Now, if you want to learn more about the Huawei Honor 2 smartphone, then you should check the next few lines, as there you can read all about its official release date, specs, features and of course the future pricing offers.
As you can see in the image, the phone is not looking bad, though the plastic made case is not one of its strengths. Anyway, if we are to surface aspects more relevant for us, then we should mention the Huawei Honor 2 specs and features list.
As mentioned, the device will be coming with a 4.5 inch IPS touchscreen (326 ppi), the system being powered by the company’s own K3V2 quad-core 1.4 GHz processor. Also, there will be included 1 GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage memory, a microSD card slot, an 8 MP rear facing camera with an 1.3 MP front facing one and an 2,230mAh battery.
Unfortunately, those who are looking forward in trying the latest Android platform, the Jelly Bean OS, will be disappointed as the Honor 2 will feature only the Ice Cream Sandwich ROM. I’m guessing that an Android 4.1 OTA update will be made available for the future.
Huawei will release the Honor 2 starting from early November (the exact date is still unknown), so only a couple of days until you will be able to buy this new Android based smartphone. According to our sources, the device will be offered (as expected) for the Chinese market first, other regions being scheduled for the coming months. Furthermore, the Honor 2 price will be 1,888 yuan, which is somewhere about $300; a fair price for a Huawei phone if you ask me.
