The Ice X Electronics Company has just released a new tablet in India, of course and as usual, an entry level, budget friendly Android powered one. It’s interesting to see how the major companies from India are manufacturing and developing many tablets, as there were made available lately more than twenty devices, including the Ultra Tab A100, Micromax Funbook, Eser A10 Tablet and Reliance 3G Tab. Anyway, let’s head our attention towards the Ice Xtreme 7 tablet, which comes with decent specs and features. The price tag is also available, so if you’re looking forward in buying a new tablet maybe it will be a good idea to check this out too.
The device is not looking bad, though it’s not appealing either. The case is leaving a plastic made taste and the rest of the design seems unfinished. As we go past the looks, we notice the 7 inch display, which has become a classic when it comes to the nowadays tablets. On the other hand, the Ice Xtreme 7 specs are including a single core Allwinner A10 SoC 1 GHz processor, 1 GB of DDR3 RAM, a 4700 mAh battery and a poor 2 MP camera on the front and WiFi connection. On the back there is no camera, so you cannot use the Xterme 7 for taking photos, though you can anytime perform a video call or a conference with your friends, or of course, at work.
The Ice Xtreme 7 features the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich platform with access to Google Play store. The Jelly Bean update isn’t mentioned, but who knows, maybe it will be made available somewhere in the future. The tablet also features different ports like dedicated USB, mini USB port, HDMI port and USB dongle support for internet connection.
The ICS based Ice Xtreme 7 tablet was already released in India, so if you like it than you can anytime buy the same. The price offer for this is Rs 7000, but we are recommending you to previously check other offers as the Indian market has numerous tablets on different prices, suitable for almost every type of customer.
