Instagram For Android Now Released

Instagram for Android Release Now

Instagram for Android has been released yesterday for all Android smartphones and it already gathered over 40,000 reviews on Google’s Play Store with a 4+ rating. Already, we’ve told you that the Instagram developers expect the Android version to be much better then the iPhone edition. However, this remains to be seen as everyone expects both versions to be leveled up soon and after all, Instagram remains a simple image filter with nice sharing capabilities that packs several pre-configured photo filters that you can use to add a refining touch for your camera photos.

Instagram for Android can be downloaded now from Google Play Store and you can use it to share your photos with your friends using its user-friendly interface. Simply launch it, take the photo, apply the filter you think it will give a different feel and then your picture will be uploaded to your Instagram account. After that, if you wish, you can choose to share the photo on other social media services such as Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr etc.

The iOS edition of Instagram is one of the most popular on Apple’s App Store and this should happen to Android’s Google Play Store, too. Using Instagram is easy and saving/ sharing photos is done in under thirty seconds. After photos have been successfully uploaded you will be able to move or even scale them. Instagram can be used by any user type even by those of you that are label yourself as beginners when it comes to photo editing, as this application helps and guides you create best effects and apply filters to give a fresh or artistic look to a rather unimpressive picture.

Instagram was launched for the first time in 2010 and it came first for iOS devices. Currently, there are over 30 million iOS users that have downloaded the app from Apple App Store. The app developers, Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger, hope that the number of iOS users will be surpassed in under a year by Android users because of the 51% global market share, while iOS is listed somewhere at 33%. Now it remains to be seen if the application will really live up to its expectations, but early signs are telling us that Instagram is on the right path to establish itself as one of the best ever picture photos editing and sharing service.

For the moment you can share photos from your Instagram account to Twitter, facebook, Foursquare and Tumblr, while the Flickr support will be added in the future versions. For it to work on Android smartphone you need to have the Android 2.2 or newer versions. It has support for both front and back camera. Now, if you wish to use Instagram then you should head to Google Play Store and install it. After that simply take a photo, add filters and save it on your account and share it with your friends or with the rest of the world using any of the global social media platforms.
