Also, before applying something on your smartphone you must consider in backing up the data. By using Odin and by installing the custom recovery image your personal info might get wiped out. This can be applied when we are referring to the data which is being saved on the internal storage memory, the SD card being “untouchable”. Therefore, you should take your time and backup the contacts, messages (SMS, MMS, emails, and so on), call logs, internet saves, market apps and everything else you need to. For this you can use a computer, SD card, some free distributed tools from Google Play, the Android cloud or any other method you prefer. You can find suitable guides by searching through our how to section, so don’t hesitate and use the same.
You should apply this tutorial only for the Sprint version of the Samsung Galaxy S3 and not on similar variants. CWM and TWRP recovery will work only on the mentioned device, so don’t try to make things different. For being able to safely perform the present method, uninstall the security tools that runs on your computer (you need to have access to a Windows running PC) and on your smartphone. Then, you need to enable the USB debugging option from your handset. Furthermore, install the proper drivers (download link here) on your computer.
