Latest smartphones didn’t come with any amazing new features and we don’t expect the Samsung Galaxy S5 to be any different. But at least it should feature an amazing 1,440×2,560 Super AMOLED display. The Galaxy S5’s release date might be just a few days away and rumors started flowing, as Samsung keeps testing their new flagship device.
If the Galaxy S5 really comes with a 2K 1,440×2,560 display, it will be the highest PPI smartphone, at over 550 PPI (pixels per inch). You should know that the human eye can’t see the pixels if there are over 300 per inch. This mean the image quality will be amazing and it could help Samsung make the Galaxy S5 the top smartphone of 2014.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 should be similar to the old Galaxy S4, but it will probably have a thinner bezel so it can incorporate a 5.25-inch display. Other features should include a 2.5Ghz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 or an octa-core Exynos processor, 3GB of RAM, a 3,000 mAh battery, a 20MP primary camera along with a 2MP frontal one, Android 4.4 KitKat and support for LTE-A.
We also expect the Galaxy S5 to come with a fingerprint scanner, but we will talk about that in a further article as we are gathering information at the moment. We don’t believe it will come with the rumored retina scanner, as it would be more difficult to use that a fingerprint one.
Samsung is expected to release the Galaxy S5 Monday, on February 24 at the Mobile World Congress, in Barcelona. During the MWC we should also see more Android devices, including the Sony Xperia Z2 and maybe the Sony Xperia Tablet Z2 and some Huawei devices.
