The LG G2 software features and new UI components that will be released for the first time with it are as following: KnockON, Answer Me, Plug and Pop, Text Link, Guest Mode, Slide Aside and Quick Remote.

Text Link function is a text managing tool that you can use to easily select SMS text and then copy it in a memo, create a calendar note or conduct an Internet search.
GuestMode allows you to create a different, but limited, user, so that those who use it will have access only to selected apps or features. Slide Aside gesture allows you to use a ’3 – finger swipe’ in order to move from an app to another by simply sliding your fingers across the screen. Quick Remote feature allows you to control all the other home entertainment gadgets in your house.
