Recently unveiled during MWC 2014, the LG L80 has been officially released in Indonesia. This mid range, budget friendly Android smartphone will be launched in Asia during the following weeks and then it will also arrive in other markets, such as Europe and US.
The LG L80 is keeping the same line of the already popular L series of Android devices, this phone being the latest member of the third generation of budget friendly smartphones. The L80 has been introduced along with the L40, L70, and L90, all these handsets being affordable solutions for customers who are in a budget but wants decent performances and good-looking smartphones.
In that matter, the LG L80 specs are including a large 5 inch IPS display capable of only 800×480 pixels density along with a dual core Qualcomm processor clocked at 1.2 GHz, 1 GB of RAM, 4 GB of internal storage memory and dual SIM support. The smartphone will be featuring Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box along with several in-built features installed by LG, such as Knock Code UX.
According to our sources, and as I have already stated, the LG L80 has been officially released in Indonesia and soon it will be launched through various carriers from Asia. Now, as I have already pointed out, this is a decent though not impressive Android device which brings a large display but low performances.
Of course, if you want something better you will have to consider in buying a more expensive handset as the LG G3 is being prepared, while the Galaxy S5 and Xperia Z2 are already available in most of the markets.
