Yesterday we presented you a Nexus 5 rendering made by a Reddit user based on the previous leaks, but, in the meantime, the yet-unannounced handset was caught on camera in a bar.
Just like the previous leaks suggested, the Nexus 4 successor has a back cover that is a reminiscent of the Nexus 7, with soft-touch plastic construction.
The LG Nexus 5 will come pre-loaded with Android 4.4 KitKat and the video below will allow you to take a peek at the pattern lockscreen of the new Android version.
Reports are indicating that the smartphone will be underpinned by LG G2’s hardware platform, as it will sport a 5.2-inch full HD display, Snapdragon 800 chipset with quad-core Krait 400 CPU at 2.2 GHz and Adreno 330 GPU, 2 GB of RAM, 16/32 GB of internal storage, and a 3,000 mAh battery.
There’s a bit of confusion among the reports regarding Nexus 5’s camera. Some say that it will be a 9 MP unit with UltraPixel/ClearPixel-like technology, while other voices say that the smartphone will borrow the 13 MP camera of the G2.
Rumor has it that the Nexus 5 will debut synchronized with the new Android 4.4 KitKat on October 14.
