Budget-friendly JB 4.1.2 based LG Optimus F3 Announced on T-Mobile

Are you looking for a new Android based smartphone but you are on a budget? Well, if that’s the case then you should choose a mid-range device that can offer decent specs and features on a low price tag. Such a phone is the LG Optimus F3 which will soon be released by T-Mobile. The Optimus F3 is already available on Virgin Mobile and MetroPCS, but if you prefer the T-Mobile data plan, then you should buy the F3 from the same carrier. The exact release date is August 7th so you need to be patience a little bit more.

As you can see in the image from above, the smartphone is not looking bad though we have the same design provided by LG on most of its Android based devices. Anyway, if you like it then you should know that the Optimus F3 will be featuring Android 4.1.2 OS (no words about a possible Android 4.2.2 or JB 4.3 future OTA update), NFC and LTE support. These should do just fine for an entry level Android user who is looking for an affordable smartphone.

Specs wise, the F3 will be coming with a 4 inch IPS display, a dual core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz, a 5 MP camera on the back, a 1 MP camera on the front, a microSD card slot and a 2460 mAh battery. So, decent performances for a mid-range Android device that’s capable of 1080p video recording and that offers 4G LTE network support, NFC and other appealing features.

As already mentioned, LG and T-Mobile will release the Optimus F3 on August 7th. The device is coming on a low price tag (as expected) – $240. Of course since you will use T-Mobile’s data plan, you will be able to buy the phone for free, though its price will be covered in two years – you will pay $10 per month in addition to the price of the monthly service plan.

So, what do you say are you considering in buying the LG Optimus F3, or you rather choose a more powerful and expensive device?
