Last October, Google and LG officially introduced the Nexus 5 which was available with 16 or 32 GB of storage and in two body colors: black and white. According to a new report, the flagship smartphone co-developed by Google and LG might receive six new color options.
The information comes from folks at Phone Arena who received a tip from one of their “loyal readers.” In the first instance, the unnamed tipster provided them with a video which revealed the Google Play Store page for Nexus 5, updated with the six new colors. In the meantime, the said publication managed to obtain screenshots of the new Nexus 5 color options.
As you can see in the gallery below, the new color options for the highly-appreciated will be Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, and Purple.
If the leaked video proves to be real, once the new Nexus 5 colors will be made available, the customers will be able to choose their favorite model by clicking on the respective color. The anonymous tipster didn’t say anything about the release date of the new Nexus 5 colors.
Unfortunately, there’s no way to verify the accuracy of the report, so it’s advisable to take the information with a pinch of salt.
As a refresher, the Nexus 5 features a 1080 5-inch screen, quad-core 2.26 GHz Snapdragon 800 processor, 2 GB RAM, 16/32 GB RAM, and an 8 MP rear-facing shooter with HDR+.
