Both smartphones will come with a water repellent coating, so you won’t need to worry about damage from light splashes of water. Motorola has also included a fingerprint scanner on both units this time, embedded on the front, inside the physical home button. Last year, only the Moto G4 Plus came with a fingerprint scanner. As far as color options go, you will be able to get the two smartphones in either Lunar Grey or Fine Gold. The duo will be running on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box, with Motorola’s minimal Android skin on top.
