On Cyber Monday, Motorola was supposed to offer a rebate of $150 from Moto X’s off-contract price when purchased though MotoMaker.
Because the MotoMaker website was assaulted by the customers eager to get their hands on the Moto X, the servers crashed making the customization tool unusable. For this reason, Motorola had to suspend the Moto X Cyber Monday promotional sale.
In order to make it up to the angry customers, Motorola announced on Twitter that the same $150 rebate will go live on December 4th and again on December 9th. Hopefully, this time the MotoMaker won’t crush again.
Therefore, if you didn’t already purchase another smartphone on Black Friday or Cyber Monday, you will get the chance to get your hands on the Moto X this Wednesday and next Monday for $349.99 with 16 GB storage or $399.99 with 32 GB storage. Aside from the $150 rebate, the best thing about the Moto X sale is that you will be able to customize it using the MotoMaker.
Even though the Moto X is not the most powerful smartphone on the market, the Motorola flagship is an appealing smartphone due to its unique smartphone features (always-on voice commands, Moto Assist, Active Display) applied over an almost stock Android interface and quick software updates.
