Moto X Has Finally Reached U.S. Cellular, $199.99 On Contract

Moto X was one of the most expected smartphone from Motorola and until now, several US carriers have already started to offer the handset, but until now, U.S. Cellular was kind of left behind by competition. After AT&T who break the ice on August 23rd ¬†when they first introduced Moto X to us and shortly after followed by Verizon, Sprint and U.S. Cellular were the only ones who didn’t have the handset in their offer.

Yesterday, Sprint bought Moto X in both online and in-store offer and U.S. Cellular was kind of the last one who missed the Motorola flagship smartphone. We all thought that they didn’t knew about the existence of Moto X, but just when we were about to pass over to more recent news, U.S. Cellular introduced in their offer for $199.99 … yes, the Motorola Moto X. Now this offer comes with a 2 year contract and is very similar to Sprint’s, with the difference that at this money Sprint brings a “Lifetime Unlimited Guarantee” pack while U.S. Cellular offers a $75 switch bonus for those of you who are new to this carrier or who would like to open a new contract with them.

To be honest, Sprints offer is much better as they are offering also a $100 credit bonus for any product, so basically you will grab a Moto X for only $99.99. Anyway, it’s a good thing that everybody can now enjoy the latest product from Motorola and finally competition can start in the true spirit, but a 2 weeks delay is not such a good marketing move, at least not in this era.

For those of you who were asleep when the Moto X arrived, let me present some key features so that you could make a better idea if the offers presented above are a real deal or something to pass over with no regrets.

Moto X features a 4.7 inch AMOLED 720p display, with a 1.7 GHz Dual Core Qualcomm processor powered by Motorola X8 Mobile computing system, and an Adrenao 320 GPU, split in two cores, one for language processing and one for computing processing making it vary fast in any conditions. The whole pack includes a 2 GB RAM memory, with a 10.5 MP Clear Pixel Tech rear camera and a 2.1 MP front facing camera, having two versions of internal storage: 16 GB and 32 GB. Among radio technology we can mention the Wi-Fi, LTE, NFC and the 2,200 mAh battery which above all is powered by Android 4.2.2 Jelly bean.

It has some pretty interesting technology such as touchless controls and Active Display notifications system, so if you are planning to purchase a smartphone, Moto X is one handset you should consider. Also, it comes with 50GB of free Google Drive storage for all your cloud documents, in case you are an active user of this service, this might be quite handy. Tell us your opinion about Moto X offers and if you are planning to get one in the near future, and if you do, which is the carrier and would you choose the contract or no contract pack.
