Moto X Leaked Again, the Front Panel Caught on Camera

The Moto X is one of the most-anticipated smartphones of the year, especially that it will be the first smartphone co-developed by Google and Motorola after the search engine giant acquired the Chicago-based phone maker in August 2012.

In fact, soon after the Googorola deal went through, the Wall Street Journal reported that the two companies will team-up to develop a super smartphone dubbed the X Phone. Since then the details about the X Phone were shallow, but soon after the Motorola officials confirmed its existence at D11 this year the web was flooded with reports about the Moto X.

Before the D11 event, the Google and Motorola gave us some hints about the X Phone. The Motorola adviser Guy Kawasaki asked its followers in a Google Plus post whether they’d like a smartphone that can be personalized like a car, tipping about the customization options of the Moto X. Moreover, Google CEO Larry Page complained that the modern smartphones lack battery stamina and durability, hinting that smartphone will be water and dust proof and powered by a RAZR Maxx-like battery.

We also know from Motorola’s officials that the Moto X will come with “contextually aware” software meaning that it will either come with a custom skin developed by Motorola, dismissing the rumors saying it will run stock Android, or Google’s Android 4.3 Jelly Bean will be “contextually aware” and it the Moto X will run it out of the box.

Anyway, let’s get back to the latest reports about the Moto X. After the Chicago-based company has decided to advertise its upcoming flagship smartphone as “Made in the USA” and “designed by you,” a couple of days ago we got to look at some of the device’s colored cases, hinting at it’s customization options.

Now we get to see some leaked photos of the Moto X’ front panel, which is revealing a really thin bezel that will go around its display. After it was initially reported that the Moto X will sport Snapdragon 400 SoC, the latest leaks regarding its technical specs are indicating that it will come with a dual-core Snapdragon S4 Pro chipset clocked at 1.7 GHz, and a 4.7-inch HD display.

Rumor has it that the Moto X release date has been set for July 11th. What are your predictions for the Moto X? Are there any particular features you are expecting? Please let us know in the comments section below.
