T-Mobile has announced that the Motorola Moto X will get the official Android 4.4.3 KitKat OTA upgrade later this week.

This Android 4.4.3 KitKat is the latest build available and here’s some of its best new additions: better camera photo quality with improved exposure, more realistic flash coloring, highly improved pictures that are taken in low light for the front-facing camera. The Dialer has ben redesigned, too. The camera now has support for pausing video recordings.
Another small feature added by Android 4.4.3 for Moto X would be the Motorola Alert app. This new function allows you to setup periodic alerts that contain info about your location and, if you enable it then the app will send alert to some of your selected contacts.
When T-Mobile will send the update your way you should simply wait for the Android 4.4.3 OTA Update Notification to be displayed by your Moto X. Click the notification alert, wait for the download to complete and after that simply press ‘Install Now’ and your T-Mobile Moto X will take care of the rest.
In case you know that the update has been rolled out, but your device didn’t receive the official KitKat 4.4.3 OTA Update notification, then you should go to Settings, then open ‘About Phone’ and click the ‘System Updates’ menu. If there is a new file available click Download and then Install, the Moto X should automatically complete the upgrade to KitKat 4.4.3.
The Android 4.4.3 update has been launched for Nexus 4, 5, 7 and 10 as Factory Images and for AOSP, and for Google Play Editions models of Galaxy S4, HTC One M7 and One M8 and for the Xperia Z Ultra. More devices should follow soon.
