Motorola RAZR i has just been released today in London and it’s the first smartphone with an Intel processor. We already knew that Motorola is preparing a smartphone powered by Intel’s Medfield processor and now we can really take a look at it.
Fortunately, we have a lot of information about it, except a release date in more areas. Though we can tell you that the RAZR i features a 4.3-inch 960×540 Super AMOLED Advance display, 2Ghz Intel CPU, 8MP camera, NFC, a 2,000 mAh battery and it comes with either 8Gb, 16GB or 32GB of internal storage. It also comes with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box, though it will be soon upgradeable to 4.1 Jelly Bean. The RAZR i is similar to the RAZR M, another new Motorola smartphone.
Clove UK announced that the Motorola RAZR i release date will be in the first week of October and it’s already available for pre-order with a price tag of $556 ( £342 ). This price is without a contract and it will definitely reach carriers, so you can get it subsidized if you prefer that way.
Lately Motorola hasn’t been able to sell many smartphones, considering that Apple and Samsung dominate the market, though they struggle and seem to do a good job.
