In a couple of hours we will finally find out all about the newest HTC flagship smartphone, for the time being known by us as HTC One and HTC M7. In the meantime, expect a lot of last-moment leaks to hit the web, just like the one we will present you know. The above picture represents a new press photo of the HTC One, prematurely leaked online, via a French website.
Almost everything we knew so far about the new HTC handset was confirmed by the new leaked picture, but what it’s even more interesting is that the HTC One seem to have a slightly curved profile, being very thin and having an new design for the camera sensor.
I don’t quite understand why HTC has put that line above the camera, but this might also be a clue that this is not the real deal, but just a rendering made by a fan. Another noticeable fact is that the stereo speakers were placed in the upper and lower ends, probably to provide an improved audio experience.
According to the rumor mill, the HTC One will be running Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean out of the box, with HTC Sense 5.0 UI, and it will reportedly boast a 4.7-inch display with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels, which will apparently be the resolution standard for the high-end smartphones launched this year.
Sources indicated that HTC One will boast a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro chipset based on four Krait cores at 1.7 GHz, plus 2 GB of RAM and a new camera with ultrapixel technology. If the rumors are accurate, the new high-end smartphone of the Taiwan-based company will be powered by a 2,300 mAh battery.
Anyway, the HTC press event will debut in less than two of hours, so stick with us as we will return with fresh details as soon as the Asian phone maker will make them available.
