The new RAZR device that was codenamed XT907 has just received an official name, which will be Motorola RAZR M 4G LTE. Also, the specs and some pictures have been released and now you can take a sneak peak at what this new Motorola mid-range device has to offer.
Motorola RAZR 4G LTE will be packing a 4.3 inch qHD display, and not a HD one. The 1.5 GHz dual-core CPU Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 MSM8960, 1GB RAM, 8GB of internal storage along with support for an external SD card and others. It will be running the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, despite the fact that the Jelly Bean Android 4.1 OS is already being released for multiple devices, both new and old.
The qHD 4.3 Inch display is Super AMOLED advanced with a resolution of 960 x 540. It sports an 8MP rear facing camera with support for 1080p video recording, while the front camera is a 3MP. Also, another great feature of RAZR M 4G LTE by Motorola comes with support for NFC. The Gorilla Glass 2 is the protection offered for the display and the back cover resembles something like Kevlar just like the one we’ve already seen on the Droid RAZR and the RAZR Maxx. The interface of the phone will pack a brand new Motorola Android-based skin.
This new phone by Motorola will be released under Verizon and the official announcement of the phone should be made at the Moto’s Verizon event on the 5th of September. We hope to get our hands on additional details and other important info regarding the Motorola RAZR M 4G LTE smartphone in the next few days, as there are still 7 days until the Moto event will unfold and who knows if this new phone doesn’t have hold some other surprises for us.
You can see that by looking at the specs, the Motorola RAZR M 4G LTE phone will be a mid-range device and this means that we will have to wait a little bit longer until Motorola manages to release a new high end smartphone.
