Nexus 7 2013 Price and Availability in India

Even though it was initially reported that the Nexus 7 2013 will not set foot in India sooner than December, Google announced on Wednesday that the new 7-inch tablet is available for purchase along with the Nexus 5 in the Indian Play Store.

The Nexus 7 2013 is the latest tablet co-developed by Google and ASUS and, besides a pure Android experience, it offers great balance of hardware and price. If you ever considered buying a relatively affordable Android tablet then you should really look into the new Nexus 7.

As I was mentioning above, the Nexus 7 2013 is now available for purchase in India directly from Google Play Store and we are glad to announce you that the Mountain View-based giant has brought all three variants of the tablet in the Asian country.

The cheapest model is the WiF-only 16 GB Nexus 7 having a price of Rs. 20,999, while the WiF-only 32 GB model is a bit more expensive as it costs Rs. 23,999. In case you were planning to get the LTE-enabled model, hear that it comes with 32 GB storage at a price of Rs. 27,999.

The 16 GB and 32 GB WiFi-only models, as well as the 32 GB LTE-friendly variant are all still in stock. Given that all three models ship in 1-2 days it means that the stocks are still sufficient, so you don’t have a real reason to hurry.

For the time being Flipkart and Snapdeal online retailers don’t have the Nexus 7 2013 in their portfolio, but it should pop up on their websites any time soon.

I remind you that the Nexus 7 packs a Snapdragon S4 Pro chipset based on four Krait cores clocked at 1.5 GHz and Adreno 320 GPU, it has 2 GB of RAM, front and rear cameras with 1.3 and 5 MP sensors, respectively, 16/32 GB native storage, and a non-removable Li-Ion 3,950 mAh battery.

The tablet measures 200 x 114 x 8.7 mm and weighs 290 grams (WiFi model) or 299 grams (LTE model).

Nexus 7’s main strength is the 7-inch LED-backlit IPS LCD display that comes with a resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels and a pixel density of 323 ppi.

The tablet was launched running Android 4.3, but it is now upgradable to the latest Android version, Android 4.4 KitKat.
