The information in this article is incorrect. Samsung has not released an OTA update for Jelybean. It is available only through Kies or through manual download from Samfirmware.com. OTA update hasn’t rolled out even for a single country yet. Please correct that as it gives users a wrong idea that the update is available through OTA. Also, we will not see any OTAs until Feb 2nd or 3rd week.

Since XXLS8 is an official firmware, flashing it on a carrier-locked Galaxy S2 won’t void the warranty, thus it’s safe to do it.

i am an S3 user and i got my update this morning thru OTA. i noticed now the change in battery! since this morning, i still have 93% battery life now. its already 852 pm! youre really great sammy!
