The I9100G variant of Galaxy S2 has officially received the new Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update. Samsung pushed today the official update for various devices all around the world and you should wait until the OTA notification is sent. Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean for Galaxy S2 I9100G will bring a new UI, the Nature UX which is the same one that was launched with the Galaxy S3,Galaxy S3 mini, Galaxy Note 2. You will get for the first time the Project Butter software which brings a smooth performance and a more stable OS. Also, you will get the Samsung S Cloud services, improved Camera functions, a brand new lockscreen with multiple new customization settings, Direct Call, Smart Stay, Pop-up Play, New widgets just like the ones in Galaxy S3, two homescreen modes, the Google Now service and a new notification bar that offers you more notification toggles.
Numerous other small improvements are implemented within Android 4.1.2, that you will find only testing the entire OS.
