The Oppo Find was recently released and due to the big demand in China, the retailers sold all the units in a matter of days. So, how can you get the smartphone if you really want one for yourself? One solution would be to move to Australia, but you’ll have to pay a consistent amount of money in advance.
Anyway, the Australians now have the possibility to pre-order the Oppo Find 5 from mobile retailer Mobicity. Unfortunately, only the back version of the device is available. The smartphone is unlocked and it’s sold for A$629. The first batch of units will start shipping on March 5, while the rest will follow.
The Oppo Find 5 made its grand appearance in December 2012, but many other full HD handsets have been launched since then, so you have plenty of other options if you don’t get this one. However, if you want the Chinese smartphone, you can head to the official website of the retailer and pre-order it.
In case you are not familiar with the phone, you should now that it comes with a 5-inch IPS LCD capacitive display with a pixel resolution of 1920 x 1080 and a pixel density of 441ppi. The Oppo Find 5 is powered by a Qualcomm APQ8064 Snspdragon quad-core CPU clocked at 1.5 Ghz helped by an Adreno 320 GPU. The device also sports 16/32 GB of internal storage (although in Australia only the 16GB version will arrive for now) and 2GB of RAM. It has a primary 13MP camera located in the back, and a secondary 1.9MP shooter in the front side. The battery is a 2500 mAh one and can’t be removed from the case. Also, the Oppo Find 5 comes running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean right out of the box.
The Oppo Find 5 is a slick high-end device and should be considered a good choice if you want an upgrade.
