Paranoid Android AOSPA 4.0 Beta 3 KitKat ROM Now Live for Nexus 4, 5, 7, 10 and Galaxy Nexus
Paranoid Android team continues their work on releasing one of the best KitKat experiences for all those who own a Nexus device. At the moment these official build are only available for Nexus 4, Nexus 5, Nexus 7 2012 / 2013 , Nexus 10 and for the old favorite Samsung Galaxy Nexus.
Paranoid Android AOSPA 4.0 Beta 3 brings several fixes and tweaks: Quick Settings 3.0, support for maximizing lock screen widgets, AOSP Dialer icon is now updated to Google Dialer icon, support for settings a different device encryption passcode from the one used for the lockscreen password, ‘on-the-spot’ preference dialog, fixes for rotation lock tile and some graphical glitches on Galaxy Nexus, the network tiles have been repaired for CDMA devices. There are tons of other small tweaks that were added so that your device will runs smoother and faster than ever before.
The Quick Settings 3.0 feature adds the brand new ‘dual tiles’ function. After you install the new ROM you will see that that all tiles are now featuring a new icon in the upper right-hand corner, tap on it and you can switch between different modes. Immersive Mode tile can now be used to switch between complete immersive KitKat UI, Navigation bar only or Status bar only.
The new Paranoid Androoid 4+ Official Boot animation has been bundled together with the new builds, too.
