Those who are looking for an alternative to the Samsung Galaxy Note device now have something to rely on as Panasonic is preparing the release of its Eluga Power P-07D handset. This will be a powerful phablet, meaning that the device will link the advantages of a tablet with the necessity of a smartphone, just like the already popular Galaxy Note. The Eluga Power P-07D official release date, specs, features and future availability on the market were made available by Samsung, so we will talk about the same during the following lines.
The Power P-07 is the improved version of the Eluga smartphone, which is a phone released by Panasonic during Mobile World Congress earlier this year. Furthermore, Panasonic developed a phablet with high end specs and features, which will surely impress you. The design is a little bit surprisingly, especially for those of you who are used with the classic one used on the handsets available on the market nowadays. It will offer dust proof and water proof protections on a 5 inch LCD HD display. The looks are ok though it’s not really a spectacular device.
The Eluga Power P-07D specs will include a 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 MSM8960 processor, 8 GB of internal storage memory, 1 GB of RAM, a 1800 mAh battery, an 8 MP rear facing camera along with a 1.3 MP front facing one and the already mentioned 5 MP touchscreen. Beside these the phone will feature WiFi direct, Mobile Wallet, 4G LTE support and the Android platform. The OS is Ice Cream Sandwich with a soon to come Jelly Bean update as a promise. All these are revealing some decent to high end specs and features, though when it comes to performances we can say that it’s never enough.
According to Panasonic the Eluga Power P-07D phablet official release date will be tomorrow, August 3st. First, the smartphone will be available at the Japan carrier NTT DOCOMO, so for more info don’t hesitate and head to the stores. We are expecting to see the device launched through other markets too, so stay close for further details and news.
