When it comes to color, the smartphones are not as diversified, most of them coming in white, black, gray or blue. I don’t know if it has something to do with the fact that Valentine’s Day is coming, but Samsung officially announced a pink version of the Galaxy Note 2. I admit that pink doesn’t really go well with the massive Galaxy Note 2, but people might like it anyway.
The color of the smartphone should not be that important when you decide to buy one, but a pink device is definitely meant for the ladies (which would make it an interesting gift by the way). The pink Galaxy Note 2 is present on the official Samsung website in Taiwan. The company does not give details about when the handset will hit the other markets, but have patience, Samsung will probably make it mainstream soon enough.
There are no other addition to the phone except its color, as it will offer the same functions that can be found on the standard Galaxy Note 2 phablet. The girls will be offered the same 5.5-inch display and Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean. Also, the phone will be underpinned by a quad-core Exynos 4412 CPU, will feature 2GB of RAM, an 8MP rear-facing camera and a 3100nAh battery.
I’m not sure if this marketing strategy will have success, because it’s a first. Anyway, the Samsung smartphones are already selling very good, and I don’t see why not people would buy a pink one.
