We’ve been hearing for a while that the folks at HTC and Verizon are planning to introduce the red variant of the new One M8 on the US market. Now we have further proof that a Red HTC One M8 model is heading to the biggest carrier in the US.
The Red HTC One M8 leaked online courtesy of well-known @evleaks who recently tweeted the press photo of the new model. Since Verizon is associated with color red, the Red HTC One M8 would fit like a glove in their portfolio.
For the time being there is no further information about the Red HTC One M8 model. No one knows when the new model will be introduced by Big Red, or whether it will debut exclusively at Verizon.
Under the hood, the red HTC One M8 will have same specifications as the silver or dark grey models: 1080p 5.0-inch Super LCD3 display, quad-core 2.3 GHz Snapdragon 801 processor, 2 GB of RAM, 16/32 GB of native storage, microSD support, Dual 4MP UltraPixel primary camera, and 2,600 mAh battery. The red model will also have the same price point as the other two models: $199 with two-year agreement.
Anyway, if you don’t care about the red model, the best deal in town for the Verizon HTC One M8 is at Amazon. The giant online retailer is selling the Gunmetal Grey HTC One M8 and the Glacial Silver HTC One M8 for only $149 after you agree to sign a two-year contract with Verizon.
