Samsung has officially announced two new color options for the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 phablet, namely Merlot Red and Rose Gold White. According to the official statement published by the Korean company the Merlot Red and Rose Gold White Galaxy Note 3 models will first hit the Chinese market, followed by other markets of the world.
We’ve told you a few days ago that Samsung is preparing to announce two new color options for the Galaxy Note 3 and that they will both be launched on the market in early 2014. Well, after all, the two new colors have debuted earlier than expected.
The red and gold Galaxy Note 3 even made a brief appearance on Samsung Argentina website before the official announcement, hinting that their release shouldn’t be too far away.
Furthermore, the folks at Sam Mobile got word from a Samsung insider that one of the two new colors will be called “White Gold,” not “Rose Gold White,” but that was most likely a confusion.
Now that Samsung added two new color options for the Galaxy Note 3, the phablet is available in not less than five body liveries, after the white, black, and pink models were made available at launch. For what is worth, Samsung managed to ship over 5 million Galaxy Note 3 units in less than a month after the debut.
With two new colors coming the interest for the device might remain high for the next couple of months.
Aside from the color, the technical specifications of the Merlot Red and Rose Gold Galaxy Note 3 will remain the same as ever, including the Snapdragon 800 processor and 3 GB RAM.
