Samsung Developers Conference is Now Open For Registration
Samsung’s first annual Developer Conference, called Samsung DevCon, is now open for registration. The conference takes place at the Westing St. Francis Hotel, Union Square, in San Fracisco, CA, between October 27 and 29, 2013.
The event is spread over 3 days and Samsung is expected to unveil new tools for developers, including SDKs and APIs for their hardware and software.
Samsung is one of the world’s tech giants and it produces a plenitude of consumer electronics, from smartphones to microwave ovens and TVs, which means there is a lot of stuff developers can work with, especially considering that nowadays most consumer electronics are “smart,” so they come with SDKs and APIs.
Here’s a part of the conference planning:
- S Pen SDK and features
- Samsung Service Platform and services APIs: ChatON, Group Play, Samsung AdHub, Context Aware and more.
- Best practices for Smart TV apps.
- Cross-platform development with HTML5 and web apps.
- B2B development.
- Development opportunities in emerging categories.
The conference will be more than that though and we tried to keep it short, but you can head over to their website for the entire schedule. They haven’t announced everything yet, as presentations are still to be announced.
Registration costs $299 and includes keynotes, working sessions, along with an exclusive developer event.
